Does knowing that pieces are going out in segments affect how you plan or do you trust the story’s natural shape to carry through? It seems like she is fighting to leap off the page even as you’re laying down the groundwork.
I know the trend of the story; parts of it have been written before, in two different ways, so I know her somewhat already. But so much I am having to simply have faith in. I’m a pantser, mostly, but once I get a bit in I’ll have to get my plot in order. I know where she’s going and what she’ll be doing—but right now, that’s all!
