I have fun with the prose. It's usually easier than the sexy scenes. Sex work, it turns out, *is* work.
She is a fish out of water, not even secure in her own mind and identity. She is in jeopardy of being a really helpless victim, and we'll have to see what happens to her and how it plays out. It would be really easy to do her dirty and dump her in some backwater somewhere, and lord knows it's crossed my mind.
But despite her perceptual issues and wobbly mind, she's a tough cookie. She came a long way in her life before she climbed in the cryopod after all … to just do a John Norman on her.
She does have a massive information disadvantage though!--those Iphigenians have been remarkably close-mouthed every time a Seoribyeolan ship visits. Even *they* know their culture is sketchy.
