Daily 1/3 chapter at a time segments of a novel in serialization - The Pearl Crucible, starring the mysterious private inspector Dardana Fenek and her maid, assistant, and sidekick Barsina …
Daily short-shorts and occasional audio, world-building, or map features from the distant planet Iphigenia …
… all of which are free and unpaywalled except for adult-situation parts, because those would be too much of a good thing.
When the book goes live on Amazon it will mostly come down due to “Amazon’s rules”, but all paid subscribers (and former paid subscribers) get an ARC copy of the ebook in the format of their choice.
Another novel is brewing, ready to start up when this one is completed.
How did all this begin?
Well! That’s a funny story.
No, I guess it isn’t that funny, come to think of it, but it started out in, shall we say, extra spicy writing. (What the Marvelous Thing One calls smut.) It’s continued in endless fun. I’ve debated long and hard about putting an Amazon link here—how can anyone take me seriously?—Then I realized that I’m taking myself too seriously. I’ve decided, to the lowest of the Hells with it, why not? I need those extra nickels. My most faithful and Patient Readers already know about it and have even read it, heaven help them, so the currently published opus of the entirely fictional Urna Semper is certainly available …
The Pearl Crucible will be joining it, G-d willing and the crick don’t rise, early in 2025. It will likely closely mirror The Pearl Crucible as it is going up. I presume. I’ve never serialized before. But then I haven’t done first person in a novel either, so we are all getting an education, aren't we. It is, I can say with complete honesty, a year of firsts for me generally. The Proceeds are helping to put my kids through college. Seriously!
